Young musicians are jamming today in Viljandi and Tallinn

This evening it is possible to attend free jams at bars in Viljandi and Tallinn. Where young musicians and members of the public will perform jazz, funk, blues and other genres of music.

Students of the music faculty of the University of Tartu’s Viljandi Academy of Culture organise jams in Viljandi. At Mulks Wine Bar this evening you can enjoy jazz, funk, and other genres of music.

The stage can accommodate many instrumentalists and singers, and during the evening you can enjoy the music of various ensembles. Doors open at 7:30 pm, and the house band will play at 8 pm. Admission to the event is free.

Another jam will be taking place at the same time at Philly Joe’s jazz bar in Tallinn. At this jam, musicians and MUBA students will play and sing in mixed ensembles.

The theme at Philly Joe’s today is blues, although it is also possible to deviate to other music genres as well. Jams at the jazz bar are organised regularly on Tuesdays at 8 pm. This event is also free to attend.
