Every first Sunday of the month marks a special occasion in Tallinn – Museum Sunday, which offers free entrance to city-owned museums. The upcoming Museum Sunday will take place this Sunday, June 2.
The initiative, spearheaded by the city government, aims to shine a spotlight on the vibrant culture and history of the city, making museums more accessible to both locals and visitors.
It is important to note, on these free Sunday’s, museums welcome individual visitors free of charge, however, guided group tours are not available. Also, visiting Tallinn City Museums on Museum Sunday requires pre-registration online, because of the popularity of the event. You can, however, book your museum visits up to 2 months in advance.
