The investment in health and safety was worthwhile at Nordic Hotel ForumKersti Vaino, Sales and Marketing Director at Nordic Hotel Forum, presents a Respiray collar around her neck.

 

During the corona period, Nordic Hotel Forum has invested in health and safety. A total of nine Genano air purifiers developed in Finland have been procured for meeting, breakfast and other public spaces, which clean the air of viruses, microbes and bacteria. At its best, each device cleans 500 cubic meters of air per hour.

In the meeting rooms, participants use a Respiray wearable developed and patented in Estonia, which also destroys harmful microparticles.

Kersti Vaino, Director of Sales and Marketing, says that the PÖFF film festival held in November brought with it a thousand guests to the hotel for a couple of weeks, none of whom fell ill. For a couple of weeks, the hotel also had its own corona testing point, where the situation could be monitored in real-time.

“Both the hotel guests and our staff were very pleased with our measures. As a welcome gift, the guests also received a Bioblock nasal spray, which also protects the user for several hours at a time,” Vaino says.

The next challenge for the Nordic Hotel Forum is Tallinn Music Week, which will take place at the beginning of May, when the house will fill up to two days. A total of 12.5 million euros has been invested in the renovation and health safety of Nordic Hotel Forum.
