Rotermann’s cozy main square will be transformed into a charming Christmas wonderland

A Christmas market will open in the main square of the Rotermann Quarter in Tallinn this Friday, December 1. The market, which will see the iconic Coca-Cola caravan visit Estonia for the first time, will be open till January 6.

Coca-Cola’s famous Christmas caravan will arrive in Rotermann on December 1 marking the opening of this year’s Christmas market. This is also the very first time that the Coca-Cola caravan has ever visited Estonia.

At the Christmas market, you will find Estonian handicrafts, food, and Christmas gifts. Santa will also visit the market on December 3, 10, and 17, between noon and 6 pm, when children can share their wishes. Children’s favourite Lotte will also be one of the star guests at the market this Christmas.

In addition to the stalls, Christmas-themed masterclasses, gingerbread house crafting, and ice sculpture making will be on offer. The cultural programme also includes choir performances and a light show.

You can see the full events calendar of the Christmas market in Estonian on the official Rotermann website.

The historic Rotermann Quarter is a city within a city

The Rotermann Quarter is located between the main ferry terminal and the old town. The former industrial area has seen residential and business premises quickly replace former factories, grain silos, and warehouses since the turn of the millennium. In addition, many new buildings were also built. Today, the area is a trendy centre of culture and trade, where you can find plenty of high-quality restaurants, cafes, shops, and bars.
