Grammy-winning bassist and co-founder of the iconic metal band “Megadeth David Ellefson is set to perform at Helitehas in Tallinn tomorrow evening, March 20. The concert, which is part of his “Bass Warrior Tour 2024”, will feature a blend of Megadeth’s greatest hits, solo compositions, and renditions of rock and metal classics from the likes of “Black Sabbath” and “Motörhead”.
From humble beginnings in rural Minnesota to global fame with Megadeth, Ellefson has ten Grammy nominations and numerous gold and platinum records to his name. Beyond Megadeth, the dynamic bass player has collaborated with acts such as “Soulfly,” “F5,” and “Metal Allegiance.”
“I’ve approached my career as that of a musical warrior, always accompanied by my bass guitar. I eagerly anticipate bringing these songs back to the stage, while sharing introspective and entertaining anecdotes about their creation. It’s been a wild ride of low notes and high stakes!” Expressed Ellefson in preparation for the tour.
Accompanying Ellefson on his “Bass Warrior Tour 2024” is Italian guitarist Andy Martongelli, who has joined him on a number of tours across Europe.
Tickets for the concert at Helitehas club in Tallinn on March 20, are still available at Piletilevi.
