20 Apr–1 May Jazzkaar International Jazz Festival, Tallinn and throughout Estonia
Jazzkaar is a two-week international jazz festival with dozens of artists from several countries giving concerts throughout Tallinn, and across Estonia. After 35 years, Jazzkaar has become one of the best known music festivals in Europe.
23 April St. George’s Day at the Estonian Open Air Museum, Tallinn
Estonia’s Open Air Museum will open its doors for free all day to celebrate St. George’s Day, with exhibitions and demonstrations of how Estonian households and farms began their summer activities, such as farming and tending animals, after the long winter.
24–26 April Maamess 2025: Agricultural, Forestry, and Gardening Expo, Tartu
Maamess is the largest agricultural, forestry, gardening, and food expo in the Baltics. Held every year in Tartu, this year’s event will feature over 500 exhibits and demonstrations.
24, 26 April Linnahall: Inside Tours in English, Tallinn
Linnahall is a massive concert venue built for the sailing regatta of the 1980 Moscow Olympics. Closed and abandoned for years, these tours offer visitors a rare glimpse inside of one of the largest constructions built in occupied Estonia.
24–27 April Tallinn 2025: International Choir Festival, Tallinn
Estonian choir culture will be celebrated in the Tallinn 2025: International Choir Festival in the run-up to the Song and Dance Festival, happening in July. This festival will consist of choirs from several countries, with concerts and performances in various churches and concert halls throughout Tallinn.
25–26 April X-Trial World Championship finals, Tallinn
The FIM X-Trial Women’s and Men’s World Championship finals for motorsports will be held in Tallinn’s Unibet Arena. Spectators can not only watch the world’s most amazing feats performed on motorcycles, but they can also meet the athletes themselves, many of whom are world superstars.
25 Apr–4 May Estonian Music Days, Tallinn, Tartu, Viimsi, Laulasmaa
The Estonian Music Days 2025 festival will celebrate 100 years of the Estonian Composers Union. Concerts featuring Estonian compositions will be held in various venues in Tallinn and Tartu, and at the Arvo Pärt Centre in Laulasmaa.
26–27 April Tallinn Coffee Festival, Tallinn
Tallinn’s 9th annual Coffee Festival will be held in Kultuurikatel. You can bring your own mug, or rent one at the venue. Coffee vendors and baristas will compete and showcase their skills at keeping you awake!
27 April Eurovision Allstars Concert With Tommy Cash, Jõhvi
Jõhvi’s famous concert hall will host an event that could be dubbed a “Eurovision Allstars Concert”. Taking the stage will be Tommy Cash, 5MIINUST, Puuluup (all from Estonia), and wavvyboi, from Liechtenstein.
27 April “Art Walk” in English at the Kumu Art Museum, Tallinn
The last Sunday of every month offers visitors to the Kumu Art Museum in Tallinn a chance to have an English-language guide to various exhibitions in the museum, which itself is an architectural work of art worth visiting.
