Breaking with tradition, the EKA Christmas Fair will span two consecutive Sundays this year, taking place at the Estonian Academy of Arts on December 10 and the Solaris shopping centre on December 17. Over 100 designers (a mix of past and present students) will sell a wide range of items including leather products, ceramics, jewelry, textiles, paintings and more.
More than 100 designers and artists, a mix of current students and alumni of the Estonian Academy of Arts, will showcase a diverse array of unique Estonian-made products at this year’s EKA Christmas Fair. Their exquisitely designed items will include leather products, ceramics, jewelry, textiles, glass art, fashion, textiles and paintings.
Unlike previous years when the fair has just taken place at the home of the Estonian Academy of Arts, this year it will take place over two weekends. The first of which, this Sunday (December 10) will take place at EKA in Kalamaja. However, the second, next Sunday (December 17) will take place for the first time at the Solaris shopping centre in central Tallinn.
The EKA Christmas Fair isn’t just about shopping. It’s a celebration of art and design, and an opportunity to support local talent.
Entry to both fairs, which will be open from 11 am to 5 pm, is free of charge. You can learn more on the EKA Christmas Fair Facebook page.
