Festival of self-built motorhomes at Põhjala factory

This Sunday, July 28, a festival of self-made motorhomes will take place in the Ankru courtyard of the Põhjala factory in Tallinn. The event will bring together motorhome professionals and enthusiasts who will share their experiences of self-built motorhomes and their travels. There will also be lots of useful information on site about building and tuning motorhomes.

Summer is the perfect season for caravanners. Although there are plenty of ready-made motorhomes on the market, more and more people are choosing to build their own motorhomes. This way, you can create a mobile summer home that suits your specific needs and lifestyle. The main advantage of a self-built motorhome is its individuality.

Prefabricated motorhomes can be expensive, but a self-built motorhome offers the opportunity to make significant cost savings. By building the caravan yourself, you can choose cheaper materials without compromising on quality. In addition, the interior can be upholstered using second-hand materials, further reducing overall costs.

At the festival, you will hear and see first-hand all the topics related to building and travelling in a self-made motorhome. You can also enjoy food and shopping in the area. The Põhjala factory offers a wide range of restaurants and street food. The area has now also expanded, with the new Ankru 8 building offering interesting little boutiques.

Tickets (€5) for the event can be bought on the spot. Children under 12, pensioners, and people with reduced mobility can enter free of charge. More information about the event can be found here
