On Sunday, May 12, the wonderful and historic Seaplane Harbour Museum will be opened to the public again after its planned renovations. To mark the occasion, the museum will host a family day, where youngsters can get to know the brand new children’s areas. The interactivity of the museum has also been increased and the simulators have been updated.
Some of the changes to the museum include making it possible to get to know the history of seaplanes even more closely, take a deep dive into underwater archaeology, and an exhibition dedicated to sea rescue and marine protection.
However, perhaps the biggest change to the museum will be the new completely separate area for children aged 0-5, where there are 12 different practical activities that help develop children’s senses and fine motor skills. The simulators have also been updated, which are good fun for both kids and adults alike.
You can read more about the reopening of the museum on its official website here (in Estonian).
