Explore Tallinn’s cultural treasures for free on Museum Sunday

On the first Sunday of every month, you can discover the rich cultural heritage of Tallinn for free as part of Free Museum Sundays. On March 3, you can explore the collections and exhibitions of the seven Tallinn City Museums.

The participating museums in the monthly event are the Museum of Photography, Tallinn City Life Museum, Tallinn Russian Museum, The House of Peter the Great, Kalamaja Museum, Kiek in de Kök Fortress Museum, and the Children’s Museum Miiamilla.

It’s important to note that not all rooms and exhibitions will be open on March 3. Tallinn City Life Museum’s “Kõlvatu Tallinn” exhibition and the museum’s open storage, as well as the Short Leg Gate Tower, Kiek in de Kök Tower, and Virgin Tower, will all be closed. However, the bastion passages are open.

To attend any of the museums all you have to do is register in advance on the Tallinn City Museums website. It is possible to book a maximum of ten tickets per person, as well as up to two months in advance.
