Annual Mushroom Exhibition open at the Estonian Museum of Natural History

The annual Mushroom Exhibition (“Seenenäitus” in Estonian) is now open at the Estonian Museum of Natural History in Tallinn. Up until its closure on September 17, you will be able to get to know all about edible, inedible and poisonous mushrooms, talk to experts, and take home mushroom-themed souvenirs from the gift shop.
2023 marks the 61st time that the Estonian Museum of Natural History in Tallinn has hosted its annual mushroom exhibition. At the exhibition, visitors will be able to admire the astonishing diversity of the mushroom kingdom and get acquainted with edible, inedible and poisonous varieties. Experts will also be on hand to answer any mushroom-related questions you might have.
In the museum shop, you will be able to find all manner of mushroom-themed souvenirs too, including jewelry and everything you need for your next trip mushroom hunting!
The exhibition will be open every day from 10 am to 6 pm (7 pm on Thursday) until September 17. Entry to the exhibition is possible with a regular ticket to the museum.
On September 22, the museum is also organising a mushroom trip with mycologist Veiko Kastanje. Places for the trip are currently still available here.
