As part of larger plans to pedestrianize the whole of Vana-Kalamaja street, the junction between Soo and Vana-Kalamaja streets, will be closed on September 12. It will remain closed for around 5 weeks while the pedestrianisation works take place.

As a result of the closure of the junction, there will be diversions put in place for cars, the number 3 bus will also be diverted during the 5 week period.

The closure of junction between Soo and Vana-Kalamaja streets, is part of a larger pedestrianisation project covering the length of Vana-Kalamaja street, that will see the street landscaped with benches and green areas added, a viewing platform, and of course, a much bigger emphasis on pedestrians and cyclists.
