A vegan restaurant with an exotic feel in the Rotermann quarter

If there is one thing that has occurred in Tallinn during the pandemic, it is the increase in the number of vegan cafés, restaurants, and shops. One of these new restaurants (and shops) is Vegan Oasis in Tallinn’s trendy Roternmann Quarter – nestled between the old town and the harbour.
On entering Vegan Oasis, you will be hit by a chilled out and relaxed décor that feels more like a tropical island hideaway than a restaurant in the heart of a Europen capital. This comes across too in the staff, who are equally happy, relaxed, and friendly.
The size of the menu at Vegan Oasis is a little on the smaller side, however there is more than enough choice to match your tastes or mood. When it comes to the quality of the food, I would put it on a par with somewhere like Vegan Inspiratsioon. It is reasonable and quite tasty, but certainly below the quality of more higher-end restaurants such as Ülo and V.
This is where the pricing of Vegan Oasis is a little disappointing because all main dishes are priced in the 10-15 euro price range. Making it more expensive than both of the previously mentioned restaurants that have better quality food.
However, unlike the other two, Vegan Oasis has a couple of other benefits. Firstly, it is a popular place with freelancers to come and work during the day, no doubt because of the relaxed atmosphere and available power sockets. It also has the benefit of a cocktail menu and live music events in the evenings, making it a place to come and party as well as eat.
Last but not least, Vegan Oasis also has a small shop (you will find the cakes from their dessert menu here too). In the shop you will find a small selection of Vegan essentials, along with pastries and sandwiches if you want to grab something for the road, along with a cup of coffee – which is a nice little addition.
