World’s Best New Hotel Located in Tallinn

Located in the heart of Tallinn’s Old Town and connected to the Bombay Club, the Burman, a 17-room luxury hotel, has received two keys from the Michelin Guide, making it the only two-key hotel in the Baltics and the Nordics.

Discreet and elegant, the Burman is far from a typical casino hotel. The service is exceptionally personal, the mattresses are of the same quality as those on the Orient Express, and the bathroom products come from the luxurious brand Amouage. The hotel also features its own spa, bakery, and three restaurants: the Cantonese Shang Shi, the Japanese Koyo, and a French fine dining restaurant.

Opened this spring, the Burman has received Estonia’s highest hotel classification—5*** Superior—and joined the Small Luxury Hotels of the World network. Now the hotel has also been awarded two Michelin Keys.

“The world’s most respected guide, the Michelin Guide, has said it all. This is a wonderful recognition for the owners of the Bombay Group and the entire team for realising a shared vision,” says Bombay Group manager Dajana Tiitsaar.

According to Anton Jolkin, who is responsible for the hotel’s hospitality, the two keys represent an exceptional stopover where an unforgettable experience is guaranteed.

This year marks the first time the Michelin Guide has introduced a key rating system for hotels. Alongside the Burman, other awarded hotels include Atlantis The Royal (Dubai), Bürgenstock Resort (Switzerland), and La Fiermontina Ocean (Morocco).
