World-Famous “Da Vinci Genius” Exhibition Opens in Tallinn

On Friday, 25 April, the “Da Vinci Genius” international, interactive touring exhibition will open in Tallinn’s Telliskivi district, offering a deep dive into the creativity, productivity, and thinking of Leonardo da Vinci.

“In addition to da Vinci’s artistic legacy, the exhibition presents an overview of his scientific research and technical visions, as well as reflections on the human body, nature, and even space,” says Linnar Viik, director of the Pop and Contemporary Art Museum (PoCo) and exhibition organiser.

With the help of innovative technology, visitors can experience the world through da Vinci’s eyes. According to Viik, the aim of the exhibition is to inspire reflection on the connections between da Vinci’s ideas and modern society, and the development of science.

“Da Vinci’s extraordinary mind anticipated many of today’s global challenges 500 years ago.”

Creativity meets cutting-edge technology

The exhibition uses interactive artificial intelligence, space-filling projections, and 360-degree sound design to create an experience where classic works such as the “Mona Lisa” and “The Last Supper” come to life in a new light. Inspired by Da Vinci, the art experience explores the boundaries of creativity through technology, light, storytelling, and music.

The exhibition was produced by London-based studio Phoenix Immersive, and conceptualised and designed by Berlin-based flora&faunavisions. The sound design is by Grammy-nominated British DJ Sasha, who creates a soundscape that accompanies the visitor throughout the experience.

The exhibition is sponsored by AS Tallink Grupp. Club One loyal customers receive a 15% discount on tickets.

Da Vinci Genius will open to visitors on 25 April, 2025 in Telliskivi’s M-hall, and will be open until 31 October, 2025. Tickets for the exhibition can be purchased here.
