Two Polish opera houses will perform at the Pärnu and Saaremaa Opera Days

“Don Giovanni” tells the story of a woman and an incorrigible playboy. It is one of Mozart's best-known opera works.
Pärnu Opera Days will be held from 7-9 July in the Pärnu Concert Hall. This year’s guest performer is the Royal Polish Opera who will perform W. A. Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” and the “Ghost Manor”. The opera festival culminates in an atmospheric gala concert with a gala dinner.
The 14th Saaremaa Opera Days will be held this year on the 20-24 July in a magnificent covered opera tent built in the courtyard of Kuressaare’s historic episcopal castle, which can accommodate up to 2,000 listeners.
The main performer this year is the Silesian Opera House in Bytom, Poland. The repertoire at the events will include works by Mozart, Chopin, Verdi and Gounod. The music of the masters will be portrayed through opera, ballet and theatre performances.
The Opera Festival in Saaremaa will also end with an opera gala, where Silesian soloists, the opera choir and the symphony orchestra will perform the most beloved and popular opera tunes and arias.
It is “Romeo and Juliet” is one of twelve operas by composer Charles Gounod. It is his most famous opera.”
