Tommy Cash in Concert

Several Estonian bands, singers, and musicians have become popular internationally in recent years, but none have garnered nearly as much fame and recognition as Tommy Cash. His megahit “Espresso Macchiato” came in a close second place at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Even if you don’t watch that contest, most people in Europe are familiar with his signature moustache, long hair, and half-closed eyes. And the word on the street is that his concerts are a great experience, even for those not interested in his unique style of music.

Part of Tommy’s success is that while most Estonian musical acts look West for inspiration, he focuses on Eastern European stories to bring to life in his music. This is a practice that seems to have paid off very well for him. But he’s not just a singer…he’s an artist. In 2019 he had a four-month exhibition with Rick Owens in the Kumu Art Museum titled “The Pure and the Damned”.

Tommy has performed a few concerts in Estonia this year, some solo, and some with other popular acts, perhaps most notably at the Station Narva festival. His stage performances naturally feature his unusual style of music, as well as very original stage decor, and choreography. Not to mention that his stage name is officially styled as TOMM¥ €A$H.

Cash’s special Halloween concert will be in Tallinn’s Unibet Arena, formerly Saku Suurhall. Doors open at 18:00, and tickets are available here.
