Tallinn Fashion Week, Estonia’s premier fashion event, returns this autumn from October 22 to 25, at Kultuurikatel in Tallinn. This year’s event will present the latest collections from top Estonian designers as well as award the prestigious Golden and Silver Needle (Kuldnõel and Hõbenõel) awards.

The festivities begin with the Golden Needle Gala on October 22, where the coveted Golden Needle award will be presented to a designer who has excelled over the past five years. The Silver Needle, recognising emerging talent, will also be awarded. This year’s Golden Needle nominees include Oksana Tandit, Arina Baranovskaja (Iris Janvier), and Tiina Talumees. Nominees for the Silver Needle are Karl Joonas Alamaa, Lisette Sivard (Mania Grandiosa), Karl-Christoph Rebane, and Johanna Paiste (Ärni Blum).
In addition to the awards, the week will feature a diverse programme of fashion shows. Highlights include a special exhibition by Ketlin Bachmann and Riina Põldroos at the Design and Architecture Gallery and a celebratory show marking Aldo Järvsoo’s 30 years in fashion. Attendees can also look forward to collections from established designers as well as fresh faces like Hertta, Sibille Maask, and Kirill Safonov.
The event will conclude with a special presentation by Aldo Järvsoo at Niguliste Church on October 26, celebrating his significant contribution to the fashion industry.
