Tallink’s Megastar ferry on the Tallinn-Helsinki route will be out of service January 8-13

 

Tallink have announced that their Megastar vessel, which operates on the Tallinn-Helsinki route, will be out of service due to planned technical maintenance days between January 8 and 13, 2024.

During the maintenance days carried out in the port of Tallinn, several planned regular technical maintenance works are carried out on the ship, such as maintenance of the ship’s electric propulsion engines and main engines, cleaning and painting of car decks, maintenance and repair of the outer hatches and ramps of the ship’s hull, cleaning and maintenance of seawater wells, maintenance of life-saving equipment and sprinkler systems, and cleaning of the freshwater system.

On Monday, January 8, Megastar will leave Tallinn at 10:30 am local time and return to service again on Sunday, January 14, at 10:30 am.

During Megastar’s maintenance days, the company’s ships MyStar and Victoria I will continue to operate according to their normal schedule on the Tallinn-Helsinki ferry route.
