sTARTUp Day Happens This Week in Tartu

Estonia is lauded internationally as having the most startups per capita, with roughly one for every thousand people. This tiny Baltic country has another impressive claim to fame as well, having the highest number of unicorns per capita, at three per million. If you are interested in starting a company, if you just have an idea, or you would like to meet people whose companies might be good investments, sTARTUp Day is for you!

This Wednesday to Friday, 28–30 January, sTARTUp Day in Tartu will host a chain of events that will teach you everything you need to know about startups, and introduce you to everyone you need to know. Speakers from around the world, a vibrant demo area, business-oriented and fun afterparties, and seminars are all on the schedule.

Individual events will take place in no fewer than 11 venues, ranging from seminars and the Founders Room, to the Pitching Stage and the DeepTech Lounge. Listen to founders share their success stories. Learn about the newest innovations that will create Estonia’s next unicorn—a startup valued at over a billion euros. Without doubt, artificial intelligence will be a hot topic this year. sTARTUp Day is a great way to hear the endless ways you can integrate AI into your business.

The main venue for sTARTUp Day this year is the Estonian National Museum, or ERM. There are various tickets available, depending on what you’re interested in. Tickets, as well as a complete list of all events, are available here.
