Robot Battle, hosted by AHHAA Science Center, will take place this Friday and Saturday (November 1 to 2), at Lange Motocenter in Tartu. The two-day event begins with a competition, where 24 schools will face off in the first-ever student robot battle. On the second day, the arena will heat up further as 24 professional teams unleash their custom-built robots in brutal battles of power, agility, and engineering skill for a 12,000 euro prize.
Competitors will battle in a 64-square-metre arena, where a record number of 48 robots with weapons like saws, hammers, and spikes will try to take down and overpower their opponents. Divided into two weight classes – lightweight and heavyweight, each robot is engineered to cause maximum damage.
Spectators will enjoy thrilling battles as flames, explosions, and surprises in the arena amp up the action. VIP ticket holders will gain exclusive access to premium seating, refreshments, and a chance to meet competitors in the participants’ area. For those seeking hands-on experience, mini-arenas will allow visitors to test the robots for themselves.
More information about the event and tickets is available at the Robot Battle official website.
