Italian Spring in Tallinn

 

Italian culture is celebrated far beyond the country’s borders. Tallinn is offering the opportunity to enjoy Italian culture in the form of music and art this spring. Jazz singer Francesca Tandoi and pop-rock band The Kolors will perform, an exhibition dedicated to Bernardo Strozzi will open at the Kadriorg Art Museum, and Italian language and culture can be learned on Europe Day.

 

9 Mar Francesca Tandoi jazz concert, Viimsi

Talented singer and jazz pianist Francesca Tandoi will perform at iDeeJazz with Brazilian double bassist Matheus Nicolaiewsky and Dutch percussionist Sander Smeets. The concert will take place at the Viimsi Artium in Viimsi, about 15 minutes by car from downtown Tallinn.

28 Mar–6 Jul 2025 Bernardo Strozzi: Beyond Caravaggio exhibition, Tallinn

An exhibition dedicated to one of the masters of Italian Baroque, Bernardo Strozzi, will be held in the Kadriorg Art Museum as part of the celebrations of the venue’s 25th anniversary. The exhibition, featuring around 50 works, will be highlighted by a seminar of art experts on 9 May.

 

2 Apr The Kolors—European tour, Tallinn

Italian pop-rock band The Kolors is making its debut in Estonia! The concert will take place in Helitehas, a popular club in downtown Tallinn. The band, fresh from their performance at the San Remo Music Festival, will play their most famous songs from their three different studio albums.

9 May Italian-style Europe Day, Tallinn

Europe Day is celebrated by the countries of Europe on Freedom Square, where the missions of the various EU countries will gather to talk about and present their countries’ cultures and languages. There will be a language café in the Italian tent, where you can learn un pochino of Italian.
