On December 9, the idyllic Estonian island of Hiiumaa will be transformed into a mulled wine lovers paradise with its annual Glögi Cafes Day event. In total, there will be more than 20 cafes taking part all around the island. Both of the Hiiumaa ferries are also taking part.
In cozy cafes all over Hiiumaa this Saturday, a steaming cup of glögi, delicious cinnamon pastries, spicy pumpkin soup, hot chocolate, and many other delicious treats await you. In total, 21 cafes will be taking part in this year’s event, including six in the island’s capital of Kärdla. You will also find cafes in Käina, Kassari, Kõrgessaare, Suuremõisa, Emmaste, and a number of other locations all around the island.
To help get you in the mood, the island’s two ferries Leiger and Tiiu will also be taking part. Meaning you can begin and end your trip with a well-deserved cup of mulled wine.
You can find out more about all the cafes taking part on the official Hiiumaa Glögi Cafés Day website.
