Tallinn currently offers a number of outdoor skating rinks, the newest of which can be found in Telliskivi. As well as skating, hot drinks and food are also available on site.
Whether you know the noble art of ice skating or not, you are welcome at the beautifully illuminated new outdoor ice skating rink in Telliskivi. The latest outdoor rink joins four others in the city which are located in the Old Town, Nõmme, Mustamäe, and Lasnamäe.
People of all ages are welcome to skate at the rink, which is easy to get to by car thanks to an ample parking lot right next to it. However, children under the age of 7 need a guardian over the age of 16 to accompany them.
To help you warm up after mulled wine, coffee, and cocoa are sold on site. There are also gluten-free and lactose-free sweets to accompany the drinks, as well as grilled sandwiches.
There are also plenty of places to eat near the skating rink, such as the oldest restaurant in the area, F-hoone, which now also offers pizza, Kivi Paber Käärid with its entirely gluten-free menu, the Indian restaurant Lendav Taldrik, and French-inspired Frenchy Bistro.
As for those looking for a drink, beer lovers can head to Põhja Konn or Purtse after skating. Junimperium, which produces Estonian gin, is located right next to Purtse.
Below you will find the price list for ice skating:
- Adult ticket 11 euros
- Discount ticket 9 euros
- Family ticket 35 euros
Children under 3 years of age can also skate for free.
(The price includes skates, and, if necessary, a skating support and helmet.)
The ice rink will be open 7 days a week from 10 am to 10 pm, while weather permits.
