Teras Beach, Tallinn’s unique indoor beach at Lõuka 6 near the Tallinn Zoo, will be the venue for the final concert of the Audio Spa series. The two final concerts will take place on 30 and 31 January at 19:00. This sandy beach will provide anyone who loves summer and good music with the perfect escape in the middle of winter.
The Audio Spa concert series began in August, and this will be the fourth and final concert, performed in conjunction with the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, or ERSO. This concert will be led by Conductor Olari Elts, ERSO’s Principal Conductor.
Music will be performed by Maria Huld Markan Sigfúsdóttir, Øyvind Torvund, John Adams, John Luther Adams, and Mason Bates. Doors open at 18:00, and tickets are available here. The theme of this one-of-a-kind concert is “By the Ocean”.
Tallinn’s Teras Beach is located in a restored mechanical and metalworking factory that operated from the 1950s until 1991. All year long, the indoor temperature is maintained at a stable 26 degrees, and…there’s a lot of sand! So bring the appropriate footwear. You can read more about the venue here.
Enjoy the concert, and your one evening of summer!
