19 February–30 April “Monastic Life” Photo Exhibition, Laulasmaa
At the Arvo Pärt Centre, an exhibition by Turkish–American reportage photographer Ali Borovali showcases life in a Greek Orthodox monastery on Mount Athos, which the Estonian composer himself has also visited.
27 February–8 March Grand Orchid Exhibition, Tallinn
Held for the 26th time in the indoor facilities of the Tallinn Botanic Garden, this orchid exhibition displays hundreds of orchid varieties from around the world, wild species and cultivated hybrids alike. Plants are also available for purchase on-site.
28 February–23 August Serlachius Art Exhibition, Tallinn
For the first time ever, the Kadriorg Art Museum, and Estonia in general, presents masterpieces of Finland’s Golden Age of art from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including works by Gallen-Kallela, Schjerfbeck, and Edelfelt, alongside a selection of contemporary art. Common themes include nature, and the Serlachius Art Foundation.
3–5 March “Evening of Tenors” Concert, Tallinn, Pärnu Tartu
Three outstanding Estonian tenors, backed by orchestras, perform arias and songs made famous by legends such as Caruso, Pavarotti, Domingo, Carreras, Lanza, and Georg Ots.
3–7 March Student Jazz TUJA 2026, Tartu, Pärnu, Tallinn
A jazz week for young musicians that first began during the Soviet times in 1982— secretly, as an underground event. Free opening jam session on 3 March at 20:00 at Philly Joe’s, with additional concert times available at the link above.
4–6 March “Sea Symphony” Concert, Tartu, Pärnu, Tallinn
Performers include Dmytro Udovychenko from Ukraine, winner of the Queen Elisabeth Violin Competition; Finnish soprano Silja Aalto; a world-class mixed choir from Latvia; and the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, presenting masterpieces by two 20th-century British composers.
4–7 March Junior World Figure Skating Championships, Tallinn
Around 200 junior skaters from 42 countries will compete at Tondiraba Ice Hall in ice dance, pairs, and men’s and women’s singles.
5–7 March “Forgers of Iron 2.0” Concert, Jõhvi and Tartu
Was the birth of Estonian rock music actually in 1869, when powerful male choirs gathered in Tartu to sing? The Estonian National Male Choir, Grammy winners for their Sibelius cantatas, along with musical artist Hanna-Liisa Võsa and pop band Traffic, perform Estonia’s greatest rock hits across the decades.
5–8 March Maritime Fair 2026, Tallinn
The current state of Estonian recreational sailing and boating is showcased by over 100 exhibitors and 200 vessels—boats, yachts, and other watercraft—at the Estonian Fairs Centre. The fair also includes equipment, clothing, and related products.
8 March Vienna Strauss Philharmonic Orchestra, Pärnu
Celebrate International Women’s Day with the spring-themed concert of the multinational Vienna Philharmonic Strauss Orchestra, founded in 2014 and conducted by Hungarian maestro András Deák. The programme includes works by Mozart, Brahms, and of course the Strauss family dynasty. The orchestra will perform the following week also in Tartu, Jõhvi, and Tallinn.
