Alessandra Mele, best known simply as Alessandra, who represented Norway at last year’s Eurovision Song Contest, will perform in Tallinn tomorrow evening, January 23. The concert at the city’s Club Hollywood, is part of her aptly named Queen of Kings Tour.
Alessandra’s musical journey began at the age of six when she won her first singing competition. As the years passed she began to blend both her Norwegian and Italian heritage into her music.
She first reached the attention of Norwegian audiences by performing in the 7th season of The Voice Norway, reaching the live shows section of the competition. This became the springboard to compete in the qualification for Norway’s selection to Eurovision in 2023 with her song “Queen of Kings”.
Not only was she selected to represent her country, but finished in 5th place in the Grand Final. However, this was just the beginning of the success for her song “Queen of Kings”, which went on to be a top 10 hit all across Europe, and accumulating around 250 million views on TikTok alone.
Tickets for her concert at Club Hollywood in Tallinn’s old town on January 23 are still available at Piletilevi.
