Depeche Mode to perform in Tallinn this evening

Iconic British new wave band Depeche Mode will perform at Lauluväljak in Tallinn this evening (August 6) as part of their Memento Mori World Tour. The band, which has sold more than 100 million records, is best known for their hits ‘Personal Jesus’ and ‘Enjoy The Silence’.
Depeche Mode were formed 43 years ago in the town of Basildon close to London. By the mid 80’s the band had already established themselves as one of the biggest new wave acts in the country on the back of the release of their Black Celebration (1986) and Music for the Masses (1987) albums. In total, the band has had more than 50 songs reach the UK singles charts, and have sold more than 1000 million records worldwide.
On their current Memento Mori World Tour, the band will be showcasing songs from their 15th and latest studio album also named Memento Mori. The band’s show at Lauluväljak this evening is also their only performance in the Baltic’s as part of this tour.
