Weekend Festival Baltic brings electronica and thousands of people to P\u00e4rnu.<\/span><\/p>\n

The third annual Weekend Festival Baltic<\/b><\/span> is already a much-anticipated event. On the first weekend in August, fans from Latvia, Lithuania and even Poland will flood Estonia\u2019s summer capital. Many tickets were already sold in spring.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jyri Keikkinen<\/b><\/span> from RL Concert recommends buying your tickets ahead of time, because Weekend Festival Baltic sells out every year. They are anticipating about 30,000 visitors this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Part of the festival\u2019s popularity is thanks to P\u00e4rnu itself. \u201cP\u00e4rnu is fantastic at organising festivals, the atmosphere also adds to its popularity. You can get there from Helsinki, Tallinn, and Riga in a couple of hours\u201d, he explains.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWeekend Festival has received a lot of praise from both visitors and performers\u201d, Keikkinen adds. <\/span><\/p>\n

This year, you can look forward to some big names like The Chainsmokers, <\/span>Armin Van Buuren,<\/b><\/span> Alesso, Clean Bandit, Deadmau5 and <\/span>Marin Garrix.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe selection of artists has also changed more from EDM to pop music. We always want to improve and keep up with the times\u201d, explains Heikkinen. The festival also has many different food options, as well as many different programmes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
