It must be summer, <\/b><\/span>because there are so many new places to check out in Tallinn, we couldn\u2019t even mention them all!<\/span><\/p>\n

Located in the newly renovated Balti jaam market by the train station, <\/span>Baojaam<\/b><\/span> (Kopli 1, Tallinn)<\/span><\/a> is Tallinn\u2019s first bao bun takeaway. A bao is a steamed bun that is filled with different, flavourful fillings, usually pork. These baos are all made in-house, with your choice of five different fillings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Venture out of the Old Town to P\u00e4rnu mnt to taste the flavours of Africa at <\/span>Chop Afrik Kitchen <\/b><\/span>(P\u00e4rnu mnt 28, Tallinn<\/a>).<\/span> Located in the same venue at Caf\u00e9 VS, Chop Afrik Kitchen. While we haven\u2019t had a chance to visit yet, the menu looks intriguing. <\/span><\/p>\n

Out in Kopli at the new Arsenal Keskus, which opened earlier this year, <\/span>Poseidon<\/b><\/span> (Erika 14, Tallinn<\/a>)<\/span> is serving up burgers that you can actually take a bite out of. While the rest of the city seems to be creating burgers that just get bigger and bigger, Poseidon offers an alternative. Don\u2019t worry if you want a big one, their Megaburger boasts 4x100g patties!<\/span><\/p>\n

As different international cuisines arrive in Tallinn, perhaps the one type of restaurant we were missing was a seafood restaurant. <\/span>The Seafood Bar <\/b><\/span>(Viru 23, Tallinn Old Town<\/a>)<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>serves fish and shellfish in every form you might want – raw, grilled, or baked.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking for something a little more local, <\/span>Mehed K\u00f6\u00f6gis<\/b><\/span> (P\u00e4rnu mnt 2, Tallinn<\/a>)<\/span> takes its inspiration from Nordic cuisine. <\/span><\/p>\n

Last but not least, taking over the old location of Francesco Sibio at Solaris, <\/span>Mintleaf<\/b><\/span> (Estonia pst 9, Tallinn<\/a>)<\/span> offers Indian cuisine along with a fine selection of gin. <\/span><\/p>\n
