Right next to the Town Hall Square is R\u00fc\u00fctli Street, with souvenir shops and an array of caf\u00e9s and restaurants. In the evenings, this is where you\u2019ll find the nightlife. Enjoy a glass of wine in places like <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>Vein ja Vine <\/b><\/span><span class=\"s3\">(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.ee\/maps\/place\/R%C3%BC%C3%BCtli+8,+51005+Tartu\/@58.3811761,26.719636,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x46eb36e6d7045c2b:0xec4c9442609d574!8m2!3d58.3811761!4d26.7218247?hl=et\">R\u00fc\u00fctli 8<\/a>) <\/span><span class=\"s1\">or <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>S\u00e4de<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s3\"> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.ee\/maps\/place\/R%C3%BC%C3%BCtli+4,+51005+Tartu\/@58.3807934,26.7197451,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x46eb36e72a3e3673:0x904af169fb5029e6!8m2!3d58.3807934!4d26.7219338?hl=et\">R\u00fc\u00fctli 4<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">The best view of the city can be found on the top of Toomem\u00e4gi Hill from one of the towers of the Tartu Cathedral, which also houses the University of Tartu museum. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">Although most of the historical attractions are located in the Old Town, it is worth exploring the neighbourhoods situated a bit further from the centre. Tartu\u2019s main attraction became the <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>Estonian National Museum<\/b><\/span> <span class=\"s3\">(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.ee\/maps\/place\/Muuseumi+tee+2,+60534+Tartu\/@58.3953848,26.742359,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x46eb36bfe0bb2f0f:0xf914b9b68ef7b41a!8m2!3d58.3953848!4d26.7445477?hl=et\">Muuseumi 2<\/a>) <\/span><span class=\"s1\">when it opened its doors in October 2016. Located a few kilometres from the city centre, the museum introduces Estonia, its culture, as well as Finno-Ugric culture. If you only make it to one place in Tartu, then this new museum should be it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">The <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>Ahhaa Science Centre <\/b><\/span><span class=\"s3\">(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.ee\/maps\/place\/Sadama+1,+51013+Tartu\/@58.3767114,26.7319035,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x46eb36deb3125e59:0xdd08e053c36ce87c!8m2!3d58.3767114!4d26.7340922?hl=et\">Sadama 1<\/a>),<\/span><span class=\"s1\"> located in the city centre, is already well-known to many visitors, though the exhibitions are always changing. For those travelling with children, Ahhaa is a great place to visit for both young and old. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s2\"><b>The Estonian Museum of Agriculture<\/b><\/span> <span class=\"s3\">(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.ee\/maps\/place\/Pargi+4,+50103+Tartu\/@58.3719451,26.7278124,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x46eb372750fc2e3f:0x7df613ccdee1633e!8m2!3d58.3719451!4d26.7300011?hl=et\">Pargi 4<\/a>)\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">is located in the neighbouring town of \u00dclenurme where you will some more great exhibitions. Located inside the \u00dclenurme Manor buildings, the museum offers a glimpse at the manor grounds in their heyday. The 15 museum buildings have different displays about agriculture and its machinery.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">If you are interested in wooden architecture and the smell of a burning stove reminds you of home, head either to Supilinn (Soup town), which earned its name from the streets being named after vegetables and fruit or to Karlova, located on the other side of the centre. This neighbourhood should also be on the map for coffee lovers as it is the home of <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>Karlova Kohv<\/b><\/span> <span class=\"s3\">(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.ee\/maps\/place\/T%C3%A4he+63,+50114+Tartu\/@58.3666579,26.7273222,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x46eb37267929fcbf:0xe2c835efced3a4ea!8m2!3d58.3666579!4d26.7295109?hl=et\">T\u00e4he 63<\/a>),<\/span><span class=\"s1\"> which is a roastery and a caf\u00e9.
