Their tapas selection includes chicken liver pate, tuna croquettes, as well as fried potatoes and freshly baked bread. Why not enjoy a glass of Spanish wine to wash it all down? Alter Ego offers one of the city’s biggest selections of Spanish wine.

We taste both the lunch and à la carte menus. We chose the pureed sweet potato soup from the lunch menu. The filling, warm orange soup was the perfect accompaniment to a cold winter’s day. The soup was served with freshly baked bread and a dish with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

We chose the Spanish tuna from the à la carte menu. The dish had a delicate aroma of caramelised onions and was served with artichoke puree and tarragon sauce.

For dessert we returned to the lunch menu. The chocolate orange cake was decorated with the Estonian national cornflower. The taste was reminiscent of Christmas.
