At the end of next week, the international \u201cVan Gogh Exhibition: The Immersive Experience\u201d will open in the creative hub of Telliskivi in Tallinn. Located in a building next to Fotografiska and the Von Krahl Theatre, the exhibition offers a new way to explore the life and art of Vincent van Gogh<\/b> by combining traditional visual art presentation, digitally created three-dimensional sculptures, and virtual reality. The experience has already been visited by more than ten million people worldwide.<\/p>\n

The exhibition begins with a physical gallery featuring reconstructed works based on original oil paintings, sculptures, and paintings transformed into three-dimensional forms. Visitors can also learn about Van Gogh\u2019s life through materials such as his letters.<\/p>\n

The experience continues in a multimedia space where more than 200 of the artist\u2019s paintings come to life through 360-degree animations projected onto walls and floors. Visitors can further enhance their visit with a separate virtual reality experience, which uses VR headsets in a third room to place visitors inside Van Gogh\u2019s most famous works, for example in the middle of golden wheat fields and the atmosphere of the \u201cCaf\u00e9 Terrace by Night\u201d.<\/p>\n

The exhibition was selected by USA Today<\/i>\u2019s editorial team last year as one of the best immersive art experiences, and CNN has listed it among the world\u2019s most significant immersive exhibitions. It has previously been shown in cities including Tokyo, New York, London, Berlin, and Brussels.<\/p>\n

In Tallinn, the exhibition is brought by the PoCo Pop Art Museum, which has organised several international immersive exhibitions in Estonia in recent years. Exhibitions dedicated to Banksy, Leonardo da Vinci<\/b>, and the Art of the Brick Lego art show have collectively attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors over the past two and a half years. The Van Gogh exhibition is the fourth in this series.<\/p>\n

\u201cVan Gogh Exhibition: The Immersive Experience\u201d is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00 from 19 June 2026 onwards, except on public holidays such as Midsummer, Christmas, and New Year. The exhibition runs until approximately Epiphany, 10 January 2027. When purchasing a ticket, visitors must select an arrival time in advance, but there is no time limit once inside. During quieter periods, tickets may also be available at the door or as a flexible option without a fixed entry time, although at a higher price.
