Sipping mulled wine, munching on gingerbread, the heavenly aromas of grilled sausages and sauerkraut wafting through the colourful air, the scent of Christmas trees, and the jingling music no doubt create the perfect mood. A light snow only adds to this annual sensation of holiday happiness. Right on Town Hall Square, centred around a massive Christmas tree picked specially each year, this market is consistently one of the top in the world. Vendors offer every holiday food imaginable, and visitors can frequently enjoy free concerts on the large stage in the corner of the square. Walking into this massive market is like exploring a Christmas-themed labyrinth, with only the tree in the centre to help you find your way around. This small city\u2019s beautiful Town Hall Square features an ice rink each year. Holiday foods, drinks, and goods are available throughout the area, but what really sets this Christmas theme park apart from all others are the several large, glass pavilions. They contain caf\u00e9s, restaurants, exhibits, animals, and if you time it right, Santa Claus himself! Tartu\u2019s Christmas City will be open from 30 November until 4 January.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">P\u00e4rnu\u2019s Atmospheric Christmas Village and Market<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">P\u00e4rnu\u2019s Christmas Market will be in the city\u2019s Independence Square from 19\u201321 December, only three days, so make sure to plan accordingly! This holiday venue isn\u2019t quite as big as the others, but as a result, it is definitely the cosiest. You\u2019re free to chat with the local vendors, wish them well for the Holidays, and listen to them about the family histories behind their homemade goods.
