Several Estonian bands, singers, and musicians have become popular internationally in recent years, but none have garnered nearly as much fame and recognition as Tommy Cash<\/b>. His megahit \u201cEspresso Macchiato\u201d came in a close second place at this year\u2019s Eurovision Song Contest. Even if you don\u2019t watch that contest, most people in Europe are familiar with his signature moustache, long hair, and half-closed eyes. And the word on the street is that his concerts are a great experience, even for those not interested in his unique style of music.<\/p>\n
Part of Tommy\u2019s success is that while most Estonian musical acts look West for inspiration, he focuses on Eastern European stories to bring to life in his music. This is a practice that seems to have paid off very well for him. But he\u2019s not just a singer\u2026he\u2019s an artist. In 2019 he had a four-month exhibition with Rick Owens<\/b> in the Kumu Art Museum titled \u201cThe Pure and the Damned<\/span><\/a><\/span>\u201d.<\/p>\n Tommy has performed a few concerts in Estonia this year, some solo, and some with other popular acts, perhaps most notably at the Station Narva<\/span><\/a><\/span> festival. His stage performances naturally feature his unusual style of music, as well as very original stage decor, and choreography. Not to mention that his stage name is officially styled as TOMM\u00a5 \u20acA$H.<\/span><\/p>\n
