This playful exhibition expands on the permanent exhibition \u201cLandscapes of Identity: Estonian Art 1700\u20131945\u201d and invites visitors to explore, along with the characters Tu and Minakaru, how art reflects who we are, and helps us to better understand ourselves and others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The exhibition features over 30 works from the collections of the Art Museum of Estonia. It includes paintings by beloved artists such as <b>Johann K\u00f6ler,<\/b> <b>Paul Raud<\/b>, <b>Karl P\u00e4rsim\u00e4gi<\/b>, <b>Konrad M\u00e4gi<\/b>, and <b>Olga Terri<\/b>, as well as sculptures by prominent Estonian sculptors like <b>Jaan Koort<\/b> and <b>Ferdi Sannamees<\/b>, and contemporary sculptor <b>Edith Karlson<\/b>. Art Museum of Estonia<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cFor twenty years, Kumu\u2019s education department has organised hundreds of lessons and public events, created activity zones and worksheets for exhibitions, but a dedicated exhibition for children had not yet been realised. Now that big dream has finally come true,\u201d says <b>Anu L\u00fcsi<\/b>, curator of Kumu\u2019s education programmes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cAlthough the exhibition\u2019s main target group is younger schoolchildren, we of course welcome all children and adults. We\u2019re happy that this exhibition allows us to showcase many interesting works from the Art Museum of Estonia\u2019s collection,\u201d adds <b>Darja Andrejeva<\/b>, curator of the painting collection at the Art Museum of Estonia, and co-curator of the exhibition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The entire exhibition is built at a child\u2019s eye level. The multi-layered space offers opportunities to move around and experience the art from above and below, near and far, standing and lying down. While exploring the exhibition, visitors can also fill out a <i>MINAPASS<\/i>\u2014a themed activity booklet related to the artworks and topics.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">From 18 to 26 October, daily family events will be held: exhibition tours, joint <i>MINAPASS<\/i> adventures, and themed workshops in Kumu\u2019s education department, where participants can create a personal crown, draw a self-portrait, and much more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The exhibition \u201c<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/kunstimuuseum.ekm.ee\/en\/syndmus\/tu-and-whozzy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\">Tu and Minakaru<\/span><\/a><\/span>\u201d will be open until autumn 2027.
