Earlier this year in May, a group of 43 nature photographers gathered on the island of Vormsi, in L\u00e4\u00e4ne County. Their goal was to shoot as much wildlife as possible. Shoot with a camera, that is. No animals were injured, or hopefully even startled in the making of this photo exhibition. Hence the name, \u201cBloodless Hunt\u201d.<\/p>\n

The best images from this hunt are on display in the Uus Turg section of Tammsaare Park in downtown Tallinn until 16 October.<\/p>\n

The Bloodless Hunt is organised by the State Forest Management Centre, more commonly known as RMK, and Overall Eesti AS. This is an excellent opportunity to see what wildlife lives in Estonia.<\/p>\n

The photographers\u2019 weapons were cameras, their ammo was memory cards, and the targets were animals and nature photos. The only way an animal could have been startled would be if someone stepped on a stick, or clicked their shutter button too loudly. The majority of the Bloodless Hunt was conducted in total silence.<\/p>\n

Wildlife was photographed in the water, on the land, and in the air.<\/p>\n
