Registration is necessary due to the popularity of the tradition. All the museums are operated by the City of Tallinn itself, and can also be visited on other days with the normal entrance fee.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The museums offering free entry on the first Sunday of each month are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linnamuuseum.ee\/en\/museum-of-photography\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Museum of Photography<\/span><\/span><\/a>, located in a 600-year old medieval jail building, showcasing Estonian photography from the 1840s onward;<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/linnamuuseum.ee\/en\/linnamuuseum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Tallinn City Life Museum<\/span><\/span><\/a>, in a building dating back to the 14th century, showing what life has been like throughout the city\u2019s history.
