Along the promenade that borders the sandy shore, you\u2019ll find several summer bars. While names and owners have changed over the years, the laid-back vibe remains. Especially on weekends, you\u2019ll find live music or DJ sets and lively terrace scenes going until midnight. Check out the atmosphere at Vaib, D\u00fc\u00fcn, and Juniperium\u2014all favourites among locals and tourists alike.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The Sunset nightclub and cocktail terrace, with its iconic round balcony on the second floor of the beach building, is a landmark for P\u00e4rnu&#8217;s night owls. Foam parties lasting until sunrise have become legendary, and most beach festival afterparties end up on the dance floor of Sunset or at Sugar, a nightclub located on Vee Street at the western edge of the Old Town. Behind the former mud spa\u2014now Hedon Spa Hotel\u2014you\u2019ll find Kuursaal, a charming historic venue that has hosted evening entertainment for over a century. Recently renovated, this charming pedestrian street, closed to traffic in summer with cute elephant barriers, connects the beach park to the city centre. It\u2019s lined with restaurants, caf\u00e9s, fast food stands, and summer bars.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">It\u2019s hard to resist the siren call of Kassa, a nightclub located in a former officers\u2019 club building on the corner of R\u00fc\u00fctli Street in the heart of the city. On Kuninga Street, a bar called Kr\u00f5hva stands out as one of P\u00e4rnu\u2019s most LGBT-friendly venues. With its punky and underground vibes, themed weekend parties often have dress codes you can check in advance on their Instagram: @kr6hva_bar.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">And what about holidaymakers with a burning passion for karaoke? P\u00e4rnu\u2019s got you covered. You can sing your heart out all year long at CocoLoco Karaoke Bar on R\u00fc\u00fctli Street and Alex Maja&#8217;s karaoke pub on Kuninga Street. In autumn and winter, karaoke also lights up the Viiking Spa Hotel\u2019s lobby bar every Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: left;\">As disappointing as it may be, some of P\u00e4rnu\u2019s most interesting bars and clubs still cater primarily to locals rather than midweek tourists.
