The YouTube series \u201cMy Tallinn\u201d has entertained viewers for over 30 episodes. In the series, Risto Lassila<\/b> introduces Finnish audiences to Tallinn\u2019s sights, services, food, and drink. A touch of humour and a personal angle are added to the travel stories. This approach gave rise to a new idea for a themed series that delves deeper into history.<\/p>\n

\u201cI suggested a collaboration with Tapio M\u00e4kel\u00e4inen<\/b>, a longtime Estonia expert, tour guide, and author. That\u2019s how the new series \u2018Traveling with Tapio\u2019 was born.\u201d<\/p>\n

In \u201cTraveling with Tapio\u201d, M\u00e4kel\u00e4inen takes viewers and listeners to Tallinn\u2019s museums, churches, and monuments. Along the way, the series introduces significant figures and events from Estonian history that contributed to the country\u2019s independence.<\/p>\n

The series also includes guests who have a special relationship with Tallinn\u2014through their work, life, or personal interest. Guests present their favourite spots\u2014whether a pub, caf\u00e9, or bookstore. Among the featured guests are Matti H\u00e4m\u00e4l\u00e4inen<\/b>, Mikko Savikko<\/b>, and Hannele Valkeeniemi<\/b>.<\/p>\n

So far, nine episodes have been released. They can be watched on Ristal International\u2019s YouTube channel<\/span><\/a><\/span>, and the audio version is here<\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n
