Estonians\u2019 love of summer festivals! Summer isn\u2019t long here, so Estonians make the most of it. The Song and Dance Celebration unites the entire country every five years, but after that, all the various regions of the country have their own festivals. It\u2019s simply not possible to attend them all, as they frequently fall on the same dates. Perhaps it\u2019s the government\u2019s fault for not adding more weekends to the month of July? Our \u201cWhich Festival?\u201d series at Baltic Guide will help you choose which festival is for you.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Juu J\u00e4\u00e4b is a music festival on the island of Muhu that has a history stretching back 29 years, which is rather impressive for such a small and remote area. Nestled between the island of Saaremaa and the mainland, anyone who has ever driven to Kuressaare has passed through Muhu when the ferry docks. But Muhu is so much more than just a drive-through island.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The Juu J\u00e4\u00e4b Festival features international and local artists of all genres of music. Even <b>Sofia Rubina<\/b> and Estonian Funk Unit will perform. The concerts will be held at various venues, such as the fabulous P\u00e4daste Manor, the Muhu St Catherine\u2019s Church, and mostly at the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.muhumuusikatalu.ee\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\">Muhu Music Farm<\/span><\/a><\/span>, or Muhu Muusikatalu in Estonian.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Delicious food both for the mind and the mouth will be available to festival-goers during the concerts and dinners. Getting to Muhu is very easy: just take a <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.praamid.ee\/en\/muhu-saaremaa-%25E2%2586%2594-mainland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\">ferry<\/span><\/a><\/span>. Leaving Muhu is what is most difficult, as you simply won\u2019t want to.
