The Narva-J\u00f5esuu Jazz music festival, which is being held for the third time this summer and is steadily growing in popularity, will take place on Saturday, 26 July.<\/p>\n

The 2025 Grammy nominee Christie Dashiell <\/b>(USA) and her quartet, saxophonist Camilla George<\/b> (England), Finnish jazz star Aili Ikonen<\/b>, and legendary musicians Villu Veski <\/b>and Tiit Kalluste<\/b> Tango Nuevo Sextet from Estonia will perform.<\/p>\n

The small spa town in eastern Estonia offers an atmospheric setting for the music festival. \u201cNarva-J\u00f5esuu Park is like something out of an old black-and-white movie, with elegant women strolling around in their beautiful hats, a ship sailing on the river, and atmospheric music wafting from its deck,\u201d describes the jazz festival\u2019s artistic director Oleg Pissarenko<\/b>, who is also a long-time musician.<\/p>\n

\u201cNarva-J\u00f5esuu Jazz is undoubtedly the most exotic of all the projects I have organised so far. The idea for it came from a desire to give something back to a place that is very dear to me. I spent my childhood summers in the city,\u201d Pissarenko adds.<\/p>\n

In the first year of the festival, there were 500\u2013700 visitors, which is a considerable number in one day for a small spa town.<\/p>\n
