Events include guided tours, hikes, sports, a parade, and of course: concerts! The official theme of this year\u2019s anniversary is \u201cHistory Lives Here\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Freedom Square<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Vabaduse v\u00e4ljak, or Freedom Square, will host free events for the public starting at 11:00, with a football show, followed an hour and a half later with a massive orienteering game. Later that evening, at 20:00, the Tallinn Police Orchestra, directed by <b>Riivo J\u00f5gi<\/b>, will give a concert with special guests\u2014the legendary <b>Metsat\u00f6ll<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Old Town<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Guided tours of the House of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads will be available from 12\u201316 May, including on Tallinn Day itself.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Town Hall Square will see Mayor <b>Jevgeni Ossinovski<\/b> presiding over the official opening ceremonies, followed by an open-door day for the Town Hall itself.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Guided tram tours will be available throughout the day. The English tour is at 18:00, and tickets are \u20ac1 each, available only by advance purchase <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/linnamuuseum.ee\/en\/tallinna-linnamuuseum-en\/pressile-en\/tallinna-paeval-15-mail-tallinna-linnamuuseumi-ajalootramm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\">here<\/span><\/a><\/span>. The tour will last one and a half hours, and is not suitable for small children, as there will be no stops.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>N\u00f5mme<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">For students from 8th to 12th grades, the Tour d\u2019N\u00f5mme (have fun pronouncing that!) bicycle tour will start at noon. A live DJ will perform at 14:00, followed at 15:00 with a concert by <b>villemdrillem<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Haabersti<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">An athletic family day featuring a children\u2019s song festival performance, and tree-planting.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>P\u00f5hja-Tallinn<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">A parade and picnic starting at 11:00, followed by a trivia game about Tallinn.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><b>Mustam\u00e4e<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">At 18:00 there will be a concert by Estonian superstar <b>Uku Suviste<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Pirita<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The ruins of the Pirita convent will be open to the public free of charge. at 16:40 there will be a concert by <b>Stefan<\/b>, of Eurovision fame.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Kristiine<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Also at 18:00, there will be a joint concert by <b>Mikk Saar<\/b> and <b>Marek Sadam<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Tallinn Day 777 will be a wonderful opportunity to explore all the districts of Tallinn, and especially the Old Town.
