This year marks the 20th anniversary of the \u201cChurch Holidays in Estonia\u201d concert series during Easter, as well as the 340th birthday of the greatest composer of the Baroque era, J.S. Bach<\/b>. In honor of this jubilee, Corelli Music presents the composer’s church cantatas, which reflect the message of the jubilee.<\/p>\n

The concert will be held on Sunday, 20 April at the Tallinn Methodist Church, and on Tuesday, 22 April at Tartu\u2019s St. John\u2019s Church. Soprano Marta Paklar<\/b> and bassist Janari Jorro<\/b> sing as soloists. The Corelli Baroque Orchestra is conducted by Martin Sildos<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The programme of the mass includes the cantata \u201cAch Gott, wie manches Herzeleid\u201d (BWV 58), the aria orchestral \u201cSuite no. 3 in D major\u201d (BWV 1068), and the cantata \u201cSelig ist der Mann\u201d (BWV 57).<\/p>\n

The \u201cChurch Holidays in Estonia\u201d series, which started in 2006, has become a fixture in Estonia\u2019s spring concert event calendar. The concert audience has the opportunity to enjoy classical music in a beautiful and historic setting. The concert lasts about an hour, and there is no intermission.
