The event is free, and suitable for the whole family.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The programme includes various workshops where participants can try folding origami, sewing <i>sashiko<\/i> (a Japanese embroidery technique), and making <i>amigurumi<\/i>\u2014small knitted or crocheted figures. For those interested in languages, there are lessons on the basics of Japanese, and tips for studying the language. The event will also discuss Japanese happiness and its meaning in life. Children can enjoy traditional Japanese games.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">In addition to Japanese craft traditions, the event will feature art and performances. On Saturday, the programme will feature <b>Naoko Ogigami<\/b>&#8216;s film <i>Kamome Diner<\/i>, presented by Professor <b>Masayo Ave<\/b>. Japanese dance enthusiasts will have the opportunity to try out the energetic <i>yosakoi<\/i> dance in workshops, and on Sunday, the event will culminate in a concert featuring violinist <b>Nina Kawaguchi<\/b> and pianist <b>Kiai Nara<\/b>.
