“Messengers,”<\/i> the solo exhibition by graphic artist and lecturer Ardo S\u00e4gi<\/b>, will open at Gallery Pallas on Thursday, January 9, at 5 pm. The exhibition explores various messages that have inspired S\u00e4gi\u2019s artistic process, translating them into visual form.<\/p>\n
“Messengers”<\/i> presents a collection of works, each stemming from a specific message that S\u00e4gi has received and interpreted. These messages evoke a spectrum of emotions\u2014ranging from positive to negative\u2014and are expressed through various artistic mediums. The exhibition spans two floors of Gallery Pallas, marking S\u00e4gi\u2019s largest solo exhibition to date.<\/p>\n
Ardo S\u00e4gi, born in 1964, graduated from the State Art Institute of the Estonian SSR (now the Estonian Academy of Arts) in 1992 with a degree in graphic arts. His career includes numerous exhibitions featuring his graphic prints and drawings. A member of the Association of Estonian Printmakers since 2023, S\u00e4gi has also been imparting his knowledge as a lecturer at the Pallas University of Applied Sciences since 2014.<\/p>\n
