This is their first-ever performance in Estonia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Founded in 1972 by <b>Erwin Ortner<\/b>, the choir is known for its versatility, performing music from the Baroque era to contemporary works. Their performance will include compositions by <b>Anton Bruckner<\/b>, <b>Johann Sebastian Bach<\/b>, <b>Arnold Sch\u00f6nberg<\/b>, and <b>Arvo P\u00e4rt<\/b>, emphasizing themes of spirituality and intricate musical structure. The choir\u2019s connection to P\u00e4rt is notable, as they premiered his choral work <i>Kleine Litanei<\/i> in 2015.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Prior to the concert, a discussion will explore the music and ideas of Sch\u00f6nberg and Bruckner. Esteemed musicologist Professor <b>Kristel Pappel<\/b> and cultural journalist <b>Joonas Hellerma<\/b> will offer insights into the composers\u2019 shared spiritual dimensions and innovative approaches to composition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">In addition to the musical events, a temporary exhibition titled <i>Arnold Sch\u00f6nberg: Life and Work<\/i> will open on November 27 and run until December 8, at the Arvo P\u00e4rt centre. The exhibition, developed in collaboration with the Austrian Embassy, portrays Sch\u00f6nberg as a multifaceted artist\u2014not just a composer but also a theorist, painter, poet, and inventor. Artifacts, photographs, and design works from his life will be displayed, with musical excerpts accessible via QR codes.
