Neste has opened a new fast-charging station for electric vehicles in P\u00e4\u00e4sk\u00fcla, on the outskirts of Tallinn. This facility marks Neste\u2019s latest step toward establishing a robust charging infrastructure in the Baltic region, with a goal of opening nearly 50 modern charging stations along major routes from Finland to Lithuania by the end of 2024.<\/p>\n

Equipped with high-efficiency Kempower chargers, the P\u00e4\u00e4sk\u00fcla station offers charging speeds of up to 300 kW and provides space for four vehicles to charge simultaneously. The station features essential amenities, including lighting and shelter to protect users from rain and snow.<\/p>\n

Risto Karppinen<\/b>, Neste\u2019s Vice President of Sustainability, Marketing, and Services, emphasised the importance of supporting the growing number of EVs with powerful, widely accessible charging stations. \u201cWe are committed to ensuring that users can access high-power charging stations in convenient locations, with the ability to charge multiple vehicles simultaneously,\u201d Karppinen noted. \u201cCustomer feedback is essential to our service development, and we have focused on delivering not only high-speed charging but also user-friendly payment options, including credit card, Neste app, and Neste card.\u201d<\/p>\n

In line with Neste\u2019s sustainability initiatives, all electricity at the charging stations is sourced from renewable energy. Additionally, Neste stations offer Neste MY renewable diesel, which reduces greenhouse gas emissions by an average of 90 per cent compared to conventional diesel over the fuel\u2019s life cycle.<\/p>\n

Located at P\u00e4rnu Mnt 453, the new P\u00e4\u00e4sk\u00fcla fast-charging station is Neste\u2019s third in Estonia, joining others in P\u00e4rnu and Tallinn.<\/p>\n
