The St. Martin’s Fair, which is the largest crafts and folkloristic lifestyle event in Estonia, will take place at the Unibet Arena in Tallinn from November 7 to 9. The event features over 200 master craftsmen who will be presenting and selling their best handicrafts. As well as shopping, visitors can look forward to engaging workshops for craft enthusiasts, activities for children, and a wide range of traditional handicraft demonstrations. New books will also be launched at the fair. This year’s guest of honour is P\u00e4rnu County, with many workshops and stalls featuring local P\u00e4rnu artisans and their distinctive creations.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, November 7, the fair kicks off at 12:30 pm with an opening ceremony, including the presentation of new handicraft books. Throughout the afternoon, master artisans will present their work, and live folk music will accompany the event. The evening will include the announcement of the 2024 Craftsman of the Year award.<\/p>\n

Friday\u2019s events begin at 10 am with an introduction to vocational schools, followed by presentations from local entrepreneurs and traditional clothing experts, who will share their personal insights and expertise.<\/p>\n

Saturday will be dedicated to demonstrating the talents and traditions of P\u00e4rnu County artisans. From 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, the main stage will host performances by P\u00e4rnu folk artists, and visitors can participate in workshops and sample traditional foods from P\u00e4rnumaa.<\/p>\n
