Today, October 26, the Estonian Dance Agency (Eesti Tantsuagentuur) will premiere \u201cV\u00e4li\u201d<\/i>, a contemporary dance piece by choreographers Valeria Tagel <\/b>and Maria Uppin-Sarv<\/b>. The performance explores the presence of beauty, happiness, and joy as essential antidotes to the fast-paced, overloaded rhythm of modern society.<\/p>\n

V\u00e4li<\/i> leads the audience on a journey through moments of beauty and joy that unexpectedly surface even in challenging circumstances.<\/p>\n

The dance piece is a collaborative effort: Valeria Tagel, a dance teacher and artist with a degree from Tartu University\u2019s Viljandi Culture Academy, and Maria Uppin-Sarv, a freelance dancer and the artistic director of the Lee Dance Ensemble.<\/p>\n

V\u00e4li<\/i> is also part of TantsuMEN\u00dc\u00dc, a programme by the Estonian Dance Agency that takes high-quality dance performances to communities beyond Estonia\u2019s main cities.<\/p>\n

Following its premiere today, V\u00e4li<\/i> will have additional performances at the Estonian Dance Agency Theatre in Tallinn on October 27, and again on November 22, 23, and 24.<\/p>\n
